ENOVATE is starting it’s third year of activity in Romania. It has been quite a journey until now and we are looking forward to our many years ahead.

The role of training and development in attracting the (b)right people for your company

It’s needles to say, that it’s crucial for any company to hire and retain the appropriate people. Of course, the methods for achieving this are various, ranging from linking company strategy to talent management, or creating an internal talent discovery system and to having in place a coherent training and developing system.

When talking about the later, in my opinion, training and development is the safest and the most efficient differentiating method, especially in these tough times. The bright people are looking constantly for opportunities to develop and, more and more often, salaries are not the best motivation you can offer them.

When developing the best training and development system for your company, take these recommendations into consideration:

1. Customize implementation methods to your company’s characteristics, regardless if we are talking about face to face trainings, online development programs, an academy like shaped program or a needs based approach;
2. Get buy-in from senior management. It’s important that they articulate the company values that ensure empowerment and define a community that individuals want to belong to;
3. Communicate efficiently, both internal and at an external level;
4. Hire bright people and turn them into your stars through training, mentoring and coaching. Studies have shown that’s it’s more efficient to grow your own talents rather than fighting for them with competitors.

Faceti cunostiinta cu Anca!

Acum ceva vreme am inceput cautarile pentru un nou membru al echipei ENOVATE. Ei bine, l-am gasit in persoana extraordinara a Ancai Nastase. Welcome to the team!

Anca are 23 de ani si este absolventa a facultatii de Marketing din cadrul ASE Bucuresti si a Facultatii de Limbi si Literaturi Straine sectia Engleza-Japoneza din cadrul Universitatii Dimitrie Cantemir. Anca a fost implicata in ultimii 4 ani ca participant si apoi ca organizator in proiecte educationale si de tineret in numeroase ONG-uri  si institutii. A fondat departamentul de Dezvoltare Organizationala din cadrul asociatiei studentesti VIP – Voluntari pentru Idei si Proiecte unde a fost membru voluntar 2 ani. Calatoreste mult, mai ales in proiectele internationale in care participa si iubeste cultura asiatica.
